Couples Therapy in the Las Vegas Valley
You love each other, and somehow you’ve started to feel like roommates. Maybe you keep having the same fight with different words, or one of you has gone quiet, or both of you are tired of trying.
I work with couples who want to talk without it blowing up and feel close without having to earn it. Together, we slow things down and look at the cycle you’re stuck in, because once you can see it, you can change it.
What brings couples to therapy
Fights that repeat, even when you both swear you’re done
Feeling distant, lonely, or like roommates
Communication that turns into defensiveness or shutting down
Rebuilding trust after a rupture
Big transitions like a move, a new baby, a job change, or a loss
One or both partners with ADHD, and how it shapes the relationship
How I work with couples
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, so relationships are the core of my training, not an add-on. I’m trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), which focuses on the emotional bond underneath the arguments. Most conflict isn’t really about the dishes or the schedule. It’s about whether I matter to you and whether you’re there when I need you.
I keep the room warm and honest. I won’t take sides, and I won’t let patterns slide, so when I see one, I’ll name it plainly and kindly, and you can both see it.
What to expect
We’ll begin with a session together to hear what’s happening and what each of you wants. From there, we set shared goals and work at a pace that fits you both. I offer sessions in person and by telehealth, which makes it easier to keep showing up when schedules are tight.
Rates and insurance
My rate is $150 per session, and I accept insurance. You can find the details on my Payment page.
Common questions
Do we have to be on the brink of breaking up?
No. Many couples come in because they want to protect what’s good.
Can couples therapy work if one of us has ADHD?
Yes. ADHD can shape a relationship in ways that look like carelessness or not caring, when it’s actually a brain difference. Understanding that often takes a lot of heat out of the fights.
