About Me
I offer a trauma informed, mindfulness-based approach to therapy. Centered on the belief that every person is on their own unique path. I strive to honor that individuality while collaborating with clients to define and work toward their personal goals. My work is rooted in mindfulness, attachment theory, experiential practices, and a person-centered philosophy. These approaches allow me to support clients in deepening their connection to themselves and others, while building meaningful coping tools to navigate life’s challenges.
In therapy, I aim to create a safe, open, and non-judgmental space, one where you can gently explore the parts of yourself that may have been hidden or tucked away. Together, we’ll work to reconnect you with your most authentic self, fostering greater clarity, resilience, and self-compassion.
Education & Experience
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Communication Studies from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. During my time there, I became actively involved in several campus organizations, where I found myself drawn to meaningful conversations and supporting others through their experiences. Those early connections helped me recognize how naturally I was pulled toward work that involved empathy, deep listening, and a genuine interest in people’s stories. That realization sparked a clear sense of purpose and ultimately led me to pursue a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy, also from UNLV (Go Rebels!). My graduate training gave me a strong foundation in systems thinking and relational work, and solidified my commitment to walking alongside others in a healing and collaborative way.
Since then, I’ve worked in a range of settings including agency work, non-profit/ community mental health and group practice. Each environment has offered unique lessons and shaped my approach in meaningful ways. These experiences have deepened my capacity to meet clients with empathy, flexibility, and a grounded presence, no matter where they are on their journey. They’ve also strengthened my ability to work with a wide range of concerns, while always holding space for each client’s individuality and lived experience.
Outside the Therapy Room
Originally from Phoenix, Arizona, I’ve always had a deep love for the desert, there’s nothing quite like the magic of a desert sunrise or sunset to ground and inspire me.
When I’m not in the therapy room, you can usually find me catching up on reality TV (especially all things Bravo), working on a DIY project (some more successful than others!), or soaking in quality time with my partner, friends, and my pup, Oliver.
Self-care for me looks like staying active, listening to music, and finding joy in the simple things—whether that’s a walk with Oliver or a cozy Netflix binge after a long day. While I know that our journey is often paved with darkness, I truly believe that joy lights the way to healing. The sound of laughter and genuine connection often feels like medicine and I try to bring those elements into both my life and my work.
