Approved supervisor for MFT and CPC interns

“Connection is the energy that exists between people when they feel seen, heard, and valued; when they can give and receive without judgment; and when they derive sustenance and strength from the relationship.”

Supervision:

I am an AAMFT and Nevada Board of Examiners-approved supervisor for MFT and CPC interns in the state of Nevada. As a dedicated and passionate supervisor, I am committed to supporting the growth and development of each intern throughout the internship process. I believe that every intern brings unique strengths, perspectives, and goals to their clinical work, and I intentionally tailor my supervision approach to meet their individual needs. My goal is to create a supportive and collaborative learning environment where curiosity, confidence, and professional growth can flourish.

With over 12 years of clinical experience, I have worked across a variety of settings, including agency, community mental health, group practice, and private practice. These experiences have given me a broad perspective that allows me to support interns working with diverse client populations, presenting concerns, and professional environments. In supervision, we explore case conceptualization, clinical interventions, ongoing client concerns, case management, ethical considerations, and the challenges that can arise throughout the internship journey. I also place a strong emphasis on personal and professional development, helping interns build confidence in their clinical skills while developing an authentic therapeutic style that aligns with who they are as clinicians.

What I Offer:

  • Customized Support: Focused on your personal and professional growth, I provide guidance and feedback that aligns with your goals.

  • Professional Development: Ongoing coaching to help you build the skills you need to thrive in your career.

  • Confidence & Competence in the Therapy Room: Emphasis on building self-assurance and competency, ensuring you feel confident in your clinical abilities.

  • Self-of-the-Therapist Focus: We’ll explore and develop your authentic self as a therapist, enhancing your presence and impact in the therapeutic relationship.

Rates:

Primary: $65 per week, this includes both an individual hour of supervision and group

Secondary: $40 per group

Group is held Fridays from 12-1pm.

Supervision is virtual and held via zoom. However, if you would like to meet in person this can be arranged.

I require a zoom interview for all potential interns. If you feel that we may be a good fit, please send me an email so we can schedule a time for an interview.
